Devotional
Real change starts with identity. Many women try to change behavior while still believing old labels. Not enough. Too broken. Too emotional. Always behind. But resurrection power does not begin with self improvement. It begins with new creation.
If you are in Christ, you are not your past. You are not your worst moment. You are not your current struggle. You are a new creature. Old things pass away, not because you forget your story, but because your story no longer gets to name you.
This is where shame loses power. Shame says, “This is who you are.” Resurrection says, “This is who you were.” God is forming something new in you. When your identity changes, your choices can change.
Today, speak truth over yourself. “I am in Christ. God is making me new.” Even if your feelings lag behind, truth is still true.
Prayer
Father, thank You that resurrection power gives me a new identity.
I renounce the labels of shame and fear. I am in Christ, and You call me new.
Help me live today from who I am in You, not from who I used to be. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Devotional
Many struggles are strengthened by thoughts that repeat. Anxiety loops. Self criticism. Catastrophizing. Comparison. When your mind stays in old patterns, your life often follows.
God offers transformation through the renewing of your mind. Renewal is not instant, but it is real. It happens as you replace lies with truth and learn new ways to respond. You do not have to believe every thought you think. You can bring your thoughts under the light of Scripture.
A simple pattern for today is this. Notice the thought. Name it. Replace it.
Thought: “I will never change.”
Truth: “All things are become new.”
Thought: “I am alone.”
Truth: “I am with thee.”
Resurrection power does not only change your future. It changes your inner life right now.
Prayer
Lord, renew my mind.
Expose the thoughts that keep me stuck in fear and shame.
Teach me to replace lies with truth and to think in alignment with Your Word.
Transform me from the inside out. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A stronghold is a pattern that feels stronger than your willpower. It can be an addiction, a coping habit, a toxic relationship cycle, or a belief that keeps you bound. Many women have strongholds that look normal on the outside. People pleasing. Overworking. Emotional eating. Pornography. Controlling behavior. Constant scrolling. Bitter rumination.
Strongholds grow when they are hidden. They grow when shame keeps you silent. Resurrection power invites you into the light. God is mighty to pull down strongholds, not by your strength, but by His.
The first step is honesty. Name the stronghold. Do not excuse it and do not shame yourself. Bring it to Jesus. Then ask God for a plan. Often real change includes prayer, Scripture, accountability, and practical guardrails.
Today, choose one stronghold to name. You are not naming it to feel bad. You are naming it so it can be healed.
Prayer
God, I bring You the stronghold that has held me.
I renounce its power and I ask for Your mighty help to pull it down.
Break shame off my life and lead me into freedom.
Give me wisdom for the next step and strength to follow through. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
